Degree in MEP Engineering

Duration: Four Year

MEP ENGINEERING

Degree in MEP engineering refers to the science and art involved in planning, designing, and managing MEP systems for buildings. These skills are the focus of an MEP design company. MEP stands to represent mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering. These three technical areas cover systems that make buildings habitable. MEP systems control the structure’s “creature comfort”. They are responsible for determining, cost estimation, building administration, documentation, and building maintenance.

Mechanical Design:

Design elements, including heating and cooling systems, make it easier to live inside a building. These systems enable us to live in buildings at all temperatures. It controls environmental factors (psychrometrics) for both human comfort and the operation of machines. The mechanical planning of buildings should consider heating, cooling, ventilation, exhaustion, and other factors. The EE process includes architectural lighting design and plans. This sector is responsible for electrical installations such as telephones, televisions, security systems and audio distribution. It also provides support for healthcare systems, robotics and other technologies. These services are usually installed by different tradespeople to higher-voltage mains wiring. They are often contracted to specific trades such as, Security installers and audio integrators. The plumbing system provides water for drinking, cleaning and other purposes, and that they take storm and sanitary wastewater away, safely. Plumbing systems also service air distribution/control, and therefore contribute to the mechanical part of MEP. The transfer of coolant and pressurized air, water, or other substances is part of plumbing for HVAC systems. Although plumbing is often used for air transfer, it can also be considered plumbing. However, it is usually installed by other tradespeople.
